Take breaks, but conduct them with advantage
This absolutely doesn’t mean that you are not allowed to go on breaks as and when you would like to, but it’s still better if you are using your breaks for doing something constructive. Let’s give you a couple of useful suggestions as to what to do during your breaks.
- Stand up and move: this is essential not just because you are sitting in front of the computer all day long and you need to rest your eyes every now and then, it is also important to avoid the dangers of a thrombosis, which can be a natural result of sitting in one place for several hours.
- Go out and breathe some fresh air: this way your mind will feel refreshed too. And although we are not plants, we do need the natural sunlight the same way they do.
- Try to relax as much as you can.
